SC Freiburg’s final game of the 2022/23 season is away to Eintracht Frankfurt on matchday 34 (15:30 CEST).

SCF honoured and said goodbye to Nils Petersen and Jonathan Schmid ahead of the last home game of the season against VfL Wolfsburg on Friday evening.

Two substitutes made the difference for SC Freiburg on Friday night, as club captain Christian Günter and perennial supersub found the net within four minutes of each other to secure the 2-0 win over VfL Wolfsburg. Petersen’s goal was a wonderful moment, as it came in his final appearance at home – Jonathan Schmid also played his final home game for SCF.

SC Freiburg play their last home game of the season on matchday 33 against VfL Wolfsburg this Friday evening (20:30 CEST).

SC Freiburg suffered a 4-2 defeat in Köpenick at the hands of Union Berlin. A poor first half saw the team go 3-0 down, before a major second half gave them goals through Manuel Gulde and Vincenzo Grifo. Unfortunately, it was not enough to earn a point.

SC Freiburg’s penultimate away game of the season sees them travel to the capital to face 1. FC Union Berlin (Saturday, 15:30 CEST).

After holding their own for long periods of the game, SC Freiburg suffered a 1-0 defeat to RB Leipzig at home. Kevin Kampl scored the only goal of the game 17 minutes from time.

After Tuesday’s defeat in the DFB-Pokal, Freiburg have a second bite of the cherry as they are set to welcome Leipzig to the Europa-Park Stadion on Saturday for matchday 31 of the Bundesliga season (15:30 CET).

SC Freiburg’s DFB-Pokal campaign came to an end on Tuesday night after a 5-1 defeat at home to RB Leipzig. Their goals were scored by Dani Olmo, Christopher Nkunku, Dominik Szoboszlai (2) and Benjamin Henrichs. Michael Gregoritsch got SC’s only goal.
