SC travel to the Bavarian capital on Matchday 7 in the Bundesliga. The clash against Bayern München kicks-off at 17:30 CEST at the Allianz Arena.

SC suffered a 2-1 loss in their first home in the Europa League against West Ham. Lucas Paqueta (9’) put the visitors in the lead, Roland Sallai equalised early in the second half, before Nayef Aguerd (66’) put ‘The Irons’ back ahead.

The Deutsche Fußball-Liga (DFL) has confirmed the exact kick-off times for five more Bundesliga matchdays. SCF will play twice at home on a Saturday against Mönchengladbach and Darmstadt and will be away three times on a Sunday.

West Ham United visit the Europa-Park Stadion on matchday 2 of the UEFA Europa League group stages on Thursday. Kick off is at 18:45 CEST, with only home fans permitted in the ground.

Defender Jordy Makengo has reached an agreement with SC Freiburg to extend his contract with the club. 

SC came away with a 2-0 home win against FC Augsburg. Vincenzo Grifo scored from the penalty spot (5’), before Philipp Lienhart converted a header from a corner to make it 2-0 (56’).

SC will meet SC Paderborn in the second round of the DFB-Pokal following the draw in the German Football Museum in Dortmund.

SC Freiburg will face FC Augsburg at home on Sunday night on matchday 6. Kick off at the Europa-Park Stadion is at 17:30 CEST.

SC Freiburg and Eintracht Frankfurt played out a goalless draw on matchday 5. Junior Adamu looked to have scored a last-minute winner, but his header was ruled out for offside (90+4').

After the Europa League opener in Athens, SCF visit Eintracht Frankfurt on the fifth matchday of the Bundesliga on Sunday (17:30 CEST).
