SC Freiburg suffered a 3-2 loss in a friendly against VfL Wolfsburg, played as part of their training camp in Austria. Freiburg’s took a 2-0 leading through goals from U23s players, Maximilian Breunig and Mika Baur, before Maximilian Philipp, Lukas Nmecha and Tiago Tomas turned the game around in Wolfsburg’s favour.
