SC will face West Ham United on Thursday evening in a battle for first place in their Europa League group. 

SC Freiburg secured a second consecutive Bundesliga away win after Michael Gregoritsch’s 74th-minute goal saw them over the line against VfL Wolfsburg, in a game where chances were few and far between.

On matchday 14 of the Bundesliga season, SC Freiburg will play their second game away from home in a row, as they take on VfL Wolfsburg (Saturday, 15:30 CET).

Michael Gregoritsch was the match-winner for SC Freiburg in a narrow 1-0 victory away at 1. FSV Mainz 05 on Sunday evening.

SC Freiburg travel to Mainz ahead of their upcoming clash in the MEWA Arena on Sunday (15:30 CET). 

SC Freiburg convincingly beat Olympiacos 5-0 to ensure they will progress further in the UEFA Europa League. Michael Gregoritsch contributed with a stunning hat-trick, whilst Kiliann Sildillia and Ritsu Doan also got on the scoresheet.

SC would secure their place in second of Europa League Group A with a draw against Olympiacos on Thursday. 

SC played out a 1-1 draw with SV Darmstadt 98 on Bundesliga matchday 12, the first of three matches in eight days for Christian Streich’s side. Darmstadt took the lead through Mathias Honsak (18‘) before Lucas Höler’s equaliser (35’). 

SC are set to face SV Darmstadt 98 at home in the Bundesliga following the international break. The game against the newly-promoted side at a sold-out Europa-Park Stadion will kick-off on Saturday at 15:30 CET.

The last international break of the year has come to an end. It was a particularly successful time away for Philipp Lienhart, Ritsu Doan and Merlin Röhl. All three were on the scoresheet for their respective national teams.
