Just two days before Christmas Eve, Streich’s men will take on BSC Young Boys in a friendly at the Europa Park-Stadion (14:30 CET). The mach will consist of 4 x 30 minute quarters and will be available to watch on our website.

Young Boys, who are headed by former Werder Bremen and Hamburg player Raphael Wicky, are currently sat top of the Swiss Super League, 10 points clear of nearest rivals Servette and 11 clear of third-placed side St. Gallen. Thursday’s game will also see the return of former Freiburg player Vincent Sierro, who made four Bundesliga appearances for SCF during the 2017/18 season.

The players will embark on their Christmas break following the game and will return to the training ground on 2nd January. The players involved at the World Cup will also return on this date. The team will then travel to Sotogrande for a training camp (4th-14 January), where two friendlies will also take place. Further information will be released in due course.
