The DFB has announced the complete final schedule for the DFB-Pokal last 16. The time and date for SC Freiburg’s clash against SV Sandhausen has been confirmed.
The DFB-Pokal last 16 fixture between SV Sandhausen and SC Freiburg will be played on Tuesday, 7th February 2023. The game will kick off at 18:00 CET at the BWT-Stadion in Hardtwald.
SV Sandhausen become Freiburg’s third 2. Bundesliga opponents in the competition so far, after 1. FC Kaiserslautern and FC St. Pauli. Both of those games were won by Freiburg after extra-time.
The home side, who are currently 16th in the second division of German football, beat Regionalliga side BSV Rehden 4-0 in the first round proper. In the second round, at the same time as Freiburg’s triumph against St. Pauli, Alois Schwartz’s side defeated Karlsruher SC 8-7 on penalties, securing their place in the last 16.
