SC Freiburg confirm that Ermedin Demirović has joined FC Augsburg. The forward said goodbye to his teammates on Thursday evening.
Demirović joined the club from FC St. Gallen in 2020 and went on to make 68 competitive appearances in a Freiburg shirt, scoring eight goals.
“Demi came to us with the desire to be able to look for a new challenge. With the agreement that we’ve come to, we believe we have found a good solution for everyone involved,” said board member Jochen Saier. “The last two seasons were very successful and Demi was a part of that. He always gave his all, even in difficult times, and bought in to our journey. We thank Demi for his commitment and wish him all the best at his new club.”
