Kick-off dates confirmed for matchdays 8 and 9

The German Football League (DFL) has confirmed the exact kick-off times for Bundesliga matchdays 8 and 9.

A Saturday fixture at home against Mainz, and a Sunday evening away trip to Berlin's Olympiastadion - these are SC Freiburg's new match times, as confirmed by the DFL on Thursday.

The confirmed timings are as follows:

Saturday, October 1st, 15:30 CEST | SC Freiburg vs. 1. FSV Mainz 05

Sunday, October 9th. 17:30 CEST | Hertha BSC vs. SC Freiburg

The first international break of the season takes place between the 23rd and the 25th of September. Before Freiburg's trip to Berlin, they will welcome FC Nantes on October 6th (21:00 CEST) in the UEFA Europa League.
