The DFB have announced the precise times of the second round fixtures of the Pokal. As such, the timing of SC Freiburg’s match against St. Pauli is now known.
The DFB-Pokal second round match between SC Freiburg and FC St. Pauli will take place on Wednesday, 19th October. The game will kick off at the Europa-Park Stadion at 18:00 CEST.
FC St. Pauli currently lie in 10th position in the second division with nine points from their first seven games. Timo Schultz’s side just missed out on promotion to the Bundesliga last season.
It was on October 7th 2021 when Freiburg last met the side from Hamburg during the opening of Europa-Park Stadion. The Breisgau side won 3-0. In the upcoming Pokal clash, brothers Maximilian and Johannes Eggestein will go head to head. The latter has been banging in the goals for St. Pauli recently.
