The German Football League (DFL) has announced the schedule for Matchdays 14 to 18. SCF will play on a Saturday, Sunday and Wednesday once more this year and twice at home on Saturday afternoon in the new year.
The only Bundesliga home game remaining for SCF this year will take place on Sunday, 17th December at 15:30 CET against 1. FC Köln. Prior to that, Freiburg will travel to VfL Wolfsburg on 9th December (15:30 CET).
SCF’s last match of the calendar year 2023 will be at 1. FC Heidenheim on Matchday 16. Kick-off at the Voith-Arena will be at 20:30 CET on 20th December.
Freiburg start the new year with successive Saturday home games. The game against 1. FC Union Berlin on 13th January 2024 at 15:30 CET will finish off the first round of Bundesliga fixtures. The team will begin the second round by hosting TSG Hoffenheim at the Europa-Park Stadion on 20th January 2024 at 15:30 CET.
