SC Freiburg will return to training on 2nd January after the winter break and then play Eintracht Frankfurt in a friendly four days later.
After a short meeting at the Europa-Park Stadion on Thursday, the players said their goodbyes ahead of the winter break. The team will get 11 days off over the Christmas period after another successful and hectic year of football.
The players are due back in training on 2nd January. Fans can attend the session on 4th January (10:00 CET) next to the Europa-Park Stadion. The only friendly before the Bundesliga returns for SC is away to Eintracht Frankfurt on 6th January. The game against the Eagles, who are on the same points as SC, will be played as three 45 minutes. It will be played behind closed doors.
Freiburg’s first Bundesliga game of 2024 is at home to Union Berlin on 13th January.
