The DFL confirmed the exact dates and times of the first 8 matchdays on Wednesday afternoon.
It’s the traditional kick off time for SCF on matchday 1 as Streich’s men are set to take on TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday, 19th August, 15:30 CEST. The first home game of the season will take place a week later against Werder Bremen on Saturday, 26th August, 15:30 CEST.
There is an international break between matchdays 3 and 4 and matchdays 7 and 8. The first Europa League group stage game will take place on Thursday, 21st September.
