SC Freiburg have a long tradition of playing friendlies against these regional neighbours. Two years ago, Michael Gregoritsch, Kevin Schade and Lucas Höler all scored in a 3-2 win at the Europa-Park Stadion, while it was Vincenzo Grifo who netted the only goal of the 1-0 win at Karlsruher’s Wildpark last season. This time around, the friendly match will take place during the last international break of the year. Kick-off in Karlsruhe is scheduled for 12:00 CET on Thursday, 14th November.
