SC Freiburg have signed goalkeeper Jannik Huth on a free transfer ahead of the upcoming Bundesliga season. The 30-year-old has spent the last five seasons between the sticks at SC Paderborn.
Training will begin on 7th July, whilst the season opener will take place on 10th August. Everything planned for the time in between is included in the 2024/25 summer plan.
SC Freiburg suffered a 2-1 defeat to 1. FC Union Berlin on the final day of the 2023/24 Bundesliga season and finish the campaign in 10th place, missing out on international competition.
Freiburg’s final home game of the season ended in a 1-1 draw against FC Heidenheim. Ritsu Doan put the home side ahead, before FCH equalised through Kevin Sessa.
SC Freiburg will be in action at home for the final time this season when they welcome 1. FC Heidenheim to the Europa-Park-Stadion on Saturday (15:30 CEST).
