The DFL announced the exact date and kick-off times for Bundesliga matchdays 7 to 13 of the 2021/22 season on Thursday. SC Freiburg are to play six times on a Saturday and once on a Sunday during this period.
SC will play at 15:30 CEST/CET on a Saturday afternoon, the best kick-off time there is in the Bundesliga, on six occasions over October and early November, including their first ever fixture at the Europa-Park Stadion against RB Leipzig on 16th October, as announced by the DFL on Thursday afternoon.
We will also face Hertha BSC, VfL Wolfsburg, promoted sides Greuther Fürth and VfL Bochum as well as record champions Bayern Munich on a Saturday, with the only fixture in this period taking place on a Sunday being SC Freiburg vs. Eintracht Frankfurt (kick-off 15:30 CET).
