SCF have agreed a contract extension with Kevin Schade
Schade, who turns 20 on Saturday, was promoted from the U23s to the first team this season and since then has played nine times in the Bundesliga. He made his debut for the Germany U21s in October and has scored three goals in four games for his country.
“Kevin is an extremely talented player who has made really positive developments. He’s got a lot of pace and gets in-behind and in the last few months, he has made improvements technically and tactically,” said chief sporting officer Jochen Saier. “Now we need to work together consistently and with intensity to further unlock his potential. We are really looking forward to working together and to the exciting journey that lies ahead.”
Kevin Schade himself has said: “I am young, I want to gain experience and face competition – with Freiburg I’m at the right club to do that. I feel completely comfortable here and that I am in good hands.
As usual, the two parties have agreed not to disclose the details of the contract.
