Florian Bruns joined the SCF coaching team in the 2017/18 season with the aim of further developing individual training with the players. The former striker played for Freiburg from 1999 to 2003 and is now completely at home in Breisgau. With the entire coaching staff extending their contracts in February, SCF have shown a desire for continuity across the board, including in his position. The statistics show the quality of his work and, together with Lars Voßler, he is largely to thank for SCF’s ranking as one of the best teams in the league last season when it came to set pieces.
